On July 12, 2024 the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises of Armenia (UATE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Matena International School of Leadership & Professional Development.
This agreement aims to collaborate on the 2024 World Congress on Innovation Technology (WCIT2024/DigiTec) and enhance the Congress's overall organization.
Sargis Karapetyan, CEO of UATE, and Ruben Hayrapetyan, Co-founder and CEO of Matena, signed the MoU to unite efforts in bringing together international business and partnership networks to support WCIT2024/DigiTec's organizational activities.
Hayk Karapetyan, the Executive Director of the Organizing Committee of WCIT2024/DigiTec mentioned that the events presented a unique opportunity for collaboration with Matena for the execution of the Congress. They saw great synergy in the joint efforts of UATE and Matena, which would enhance the organizational activities and bring together international business and partnership networks to Armenia.
WCIT2024/DigiTec will take place from October 4–7, 2024, at the Karen Demirtchian Complex in Yerevan.
The Congress will highlight the significance of applied sciences, investments, and the technological presence across various regions and economies focusing on the main headline "THE POWER OF MIND: AI Beyond Limits, Within Ethics."
WCIT2024//DigiTec will survey as a global platform, which aims to:
- Strengthen the impact of information technology, raising awareness about innovations and the latest developments in AI,
- Represent Armenia on international platforms and position it as a new technological hub for the region,
- Promote investments and highlight the importance of ICT solutions in various regions and economies,
- Showcase the technological potential of Armenia, and beyond, within the framework of the DigiTec Expo, which will serve as the main expo platform for WCIT2024/DigiTec.
